Throughout his career, Tim has combined scientific training, business leadership, and education with a deep commitment to faith and service. His varied professional experience and thoughtful approach to leadership continue to strengthen FAIR’s efforts to help individuals better understand the restored gospel.
Professional Career
Tim Dunn graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Science and Chemical Engineering. After beginning his career as a science teacher, he entered the investment industry, serving as a trader for hedge funds before helping establish Clearwater Advisors, where he spent nineteen years overseeing trading, risk management, and portfolio management.
Following his investment career, Tim returned to education as a high school science teacher. He also provides consulting services for small businesses, works as an audio engineer for schools and local musicians, and has been involved in property development. His diverse professional background reflects a lifelong interest in learning, leadership, and problem-solving.

Tim has served in a variety of callings within The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints throughout his life. His commitment to gospel service and helping others strengthen their faith continues through his leadership with FAIR and his support of educational and community organizations.
