David Harper studies history at BYU–Idaho. Originally from New Mexico, he served a two-year proselyting mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Richmond, Virginia Mission.
Harper helped found the BYU–Idaho Study & Faith Society, an organization devoted to faith-building scholarship. His academic interests include apologetics, Second Temple Judaism, New Testament history, and Pauline theology, and he enjoys studying ancient Greek and Hebrew.
He also runs a growing community of nearly two thousand missionaries and returned missionaries focused on promoting gospel scholarship.

FAIR is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing well-documented answers to criticisms of the doctrine, practice, and history of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
