Jonathon Riley earned a PhD and MA in Biblical Studies from The Catholic University of America, an MA in Biblical Studies from Trinity Western University, and a BA in Ancient Near Eastern Studies from Brigham Young University.
His areas of expertise include Biblical Studies, Book of Mormon Studies, and Zoroastrianism. His research interests include intertextuality and allusion, narrative criticism, and exegesis. Riley has published research using Hebrew linguistics to inform the study of the Book of Mormon text and has also worked on the use of the Septuagint in the Book of Mormon.
