A Lifetime of Service
Paul combines decades of professional expertise in cybersecurity with more than fifty years of experience answering questions about the restored gospel. His unique background allows him to thoughtfully address complex questions with both technical precision and a deep commitment to faith.
Professional Career
Paul McNabb earned a Master of Science in Computer Science from Purdue University, specializing in operating systems and cybersecurity. Throughout his career, he founded and led several technology companies before his final company was acquired by General Dynamics in 2010. After retiring from General Dynamics in 2021, he has continued consulting as a recognized subject matter expert in multilevel security and cross-domain security for the defense and intelligence communities.
Internationally respected in his field, Paul has spoken at nearly one hundred cybersecurity conferences and academic institutions across more than fifteen countries, sharing his expertise with universities, government agencies, and industry professionals.
Church Service
Outside of his professional career, Paul joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at age eighteen and later served as a missionary in Japan. He and his wife are the parents of five children and grandparents of thirteen grandchildren. He has served in Church leadership for more than three decades and has spent over fifty years helping individuals thoughtfully address questions about the restored gospel.
