Jared K. McBride is an executive leader, public policy advisor, and nonprofit strategist who serves on FAIR’s Advisory Board. His work focuses on organizations at the intersection of public policy, social impact, and institutional governance.

Jared serves as Chief Executive Officer of The Steadfast Institute and as Chief Executive Officer and Government and Policy Advisor for The Sexual Human Development Council. His leadership experience also includes service on large governing boards, including one of Southern California’s largest water companies.

His expertise spans executive management, organizational strategy, board governance, fiduciary oversight, investment and portfolio management, strategic planning, and operations. He has directed tens of millions of dollars in complex budgets, managed compliance and regulatory responsibilities, and developed cross-sector partnerships. His work emphasizes building the structure, accountability, and strategy needed for mission-driven organizations to achieve lasting impact.

Jared earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Utah Tech University, a Master of Social Service Administration and public policy from the University of Chicago, and an MBA from Boston University.

Jared and his wife are the parents of eight children. He counts serving as a Primary teacher to his own children among his most meaningful Church callings.
