Paul McNabb

Paul McNabb is a cybersecurity expert, technology executive, and longtime defender of the restored gospel who serves on FAIR’s Board of Directors.

Paul earned a master’s degree in computer science from Purdue University, specializing in operating systems and cybersecurity. During his career, he helped found and lead several technology companies, the last of which was acquired by defense contractor General Dynamics in 2010. He retired from General Dynamics in 2021 but continues to provide consulting services in the field.

As a subject matter expert in multilevel and cross-domain security for the defense and intelligence communities, Paul has been a guest speaker and lecturer at nearly 100 cybersecurity conferences and academic settings in more than 15 countries and at universities around the world.

Paul joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at age 18 and later served a mission in Japan. He has served for more than 30 years in Church leadership callings and has spent more than 50 years engaged in efforts to defend and explain the restored gospel. He finds particular fulfillment in helping people find answers to questions and resolve concerns about the gospel and the Church.

Paul and his wife are the parents of five children and have 13 grandchildren.
