Tim Dunn

Tim Dunn is a scientist, educator, investor, and business leader who serves as Chair of FAIR’s Board of Directors.

Tim earned a bachelor’s degree in physical science and chemical engineering from Brigham Young University. After graduation, he began his career teaching science before moving into the financial industry, where he worked as a hedge fund trader and helped establish Clearwater Advisors. Over the next 19 years, he worked in trading, risk management, and portfolio management.

After leaving the financial industry, Tim returned to teaching high school science and pursued a variety of other interests, including small-business consulting, audio engineering, and property development.

Tim has served in a variety of callings in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Outside of his professional and Church service, he enjoys music, fishing, swimming, and spending time with his family.
