FAQ-FAIR and Valiant Voices: United in Faith

Welcome to the FAIR and Valiant Voices: United in Faith Conference FAQs! Here, we address common queries regarding this year’s conference, which marks a collaborative effort between FAIR and Valiant Conference. Discover why the conference has shifted to Salt Lake City, what prompted the partnership with Valiant Conference, and what exciting changes attendees can expect. From parking details to upcoming speaker line-ups, we’ve got you covered. Explore these FAQs to ensure you’re fully prepared for an enriching and insightful experience at the conference.

What is the Valiant Conference, and why is it being mentioned in relation to the FAIR conference this year?
  • Valiant Conference is a group with a focus on supporting parents and families, particularly in handling faith challenges and building spiritual resilience. This year, FAIR  has partnered with Valiant Conference to present a joint conference. Some members of Valiant Conference will be presenting sessions alongside FAIR’s traditional scholarship.
Why is FAIR merging with Valiant?

FAIR isn’t merging with Valiant. FAIR and Valiant are collaborating on this conference. FAIR has often collaborated with other organizations in the past, but never named the conference anything other than ‘FAIR Conference’. Both FAIR and Valiant will continue to exist as separate and distinct entities both during and after the 2024 conference.

What prompted the location change to Salt Lake City for the conference?
  • The shift to Salt Lake City was made to increase accessibility for attendees, particularly those from northern areas like Idaho. Additionally, moving to a location with plenty of free parking makes it more convenient for participants.
Will the conference schedule or list of speakers be available soon?
  • Yes, the schedule and speaker list will be released very soon. Stay tuned for updates! Follow FAIR on Social Media to get the latest information.
How will the changes in the conference format affect attendees?
  • The conference will be condensed from three days to two, with two tracks instead of one. This change is aimed at making it easier for parents who require childcare and individuals who need to take time off work to attend. Creating a multi-track conference enables us to have as many presenters as in a three-day conference.
Where can I find more information about Valiant Conference?
  • You can learn more about Valiant Voices at their website: Valiant Conference
What topics will be covered at the conference?
  • The conference will cover a range of subjects including spiritual resilience, handling faith challenges in families and communities, and engaging effectively online.
Is there free parking available at the conference venue?
  • Yes, free parking is available at the venue for conference attendees.
Will lunch be provided?

No lunch will be provided at this year’s conference; however, there will be food trucks available, and the location is convenient to several meal options. If you’d like to bring lunch, there’s room to eat at the school and on the grounds.

Where can I ask questions about the conference?

If you have any questions, please reach out to us at [email protected] – we’d love to tell you more!
