Prophets and Church Leaders

Latter-day Saints believe that God continues to guide His Church through living prophets, just as He did in biblical and Book of Mormon times. They believe that modern prophets are called by God to testify of Jesus Christ, teach His gospel, reveal God's will, warn against sin, and provide inspired counsel for the needs of the present day. Like the prophets of old, they may also receive revelation concerning future events when the Lord sees fit. Click the links below for faithful answers to questions about prophets.
