Spiritual Message: Embracing Love and Peace
In his April 2023 General Conference address, President Russell M. Nelson emphasized the importance of being peacemakers:
“You have your agency to choose contention or reconciliation. I urge you to choose to be a peacemaker, now and always…replace belligerence with beseeching, animosity with understanding, and contention with peace.”

- LDS Church Assists LA Fire Victims
“As part of its ongoing efforts to support those affected by the fires in Southern California, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has already contributed a combined US$1.2 million to help four nonprofit organizations respond to the immediate needs of people in the impacted areas.”

- Church Reaffirms Immigration Principles: Love, Law and Family Unity
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has reiterated principles and communicated guidelines to local leaders in the United States regarding immigration issues.
- Tithing Lawsuit Dismissed
On January 31, 2025, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals unanimously dismissed James Huntsman’s lawsuit against the Church, affirming that there was no evidence of fraudulent misrepresentation regarding tithing funds.

FAIR October Virtual Conference: Exploring the Old Testament | “Ancient Truths for Modern Faith: Defending the Old Testament in Latter-day Saint Doctrine.“
We are excited to introduce our FAIR October Virtual Conference, dedicated to exploring the Old Testament and its relevance in Latter-day Saint theology. The theme for this conference will be “Ancient Truths for Modern Faith: Defending the Old Testament in Latter-day Saint Doctrine.“
Call for Papers
FAIR is now accepting submissions for papers to be considered for presentation at the conference. If you are interested in contributing, we invite you to submit your intent to turn in a paper using the link below. Selected papers may be presented in one of two formats:
- In-Studio Presentation – Present in person at our studio.
- Pre-Recorded Presentation – Submit a high-quality recorded presentation.
This is a fantastic opportunity to share your research, strengthen testimonies, and contribute to meaningful gospel discussions. We look forward to your submissions!
