In-person ticket sales end in 5 days!

July 24, 2023 by FAIR Staff

I know it’s easy to justify watching the free streaming at home, in your jammies. But just consider this – attending the 2023 FAIR Conference in person offers several advantages over viewing it virtually via streaming.

First, of course, the in-person experience provides you with an opportunity to interact and network with like-minded individuals who share your interest in Latter-day Saint topics. Personal connections fostered during the conference can lead to meaningful relationships and future collaborations.

Not only that, attending the conference in person enables you to fully immerse themselves in the event’s atmosphere and ambiance. Engaging with speakers, exhibitors, authors, and other attendees face-to-face allows for a richer experience – and that enhances learning and retention of the information presented. The direct interaction with speakers during Q&A sessions can lead to more profound insights and personalized answers to your questions. Plus, many of the speakers and authors have agreed to spend time to meet and greet attendees after their presentations. You definitely can’t do that through your internet connection.

Additionally, the in-person conference offers a wide range of activities beyond the formal sessions. Panel discussions, art exhibits, the on-site bookstore (no shipping fees!) and silent auction offer valuable opportunities for informal learning and personal growth.

Furthermore, the energy and enthusiasm of a live audience can be contagious, enhancing the overall excitement and engagement throughout the event. Being part of a physically present community fosters a sense of belonging and shared purpose.

While virtual streaming provides convenience for those unable to attend in person due to geographic or logistical constraints, the advantages of in-person attendance significantly outweigh the virtual experience. The human connections, immersive atmosphere, and broader experiences offered by attending the 2023 FAIR Conference in person make it a superior choice for individuals seeking to maximize their engagement and personal growth within the Latter-day Saint community.

So, come, come ye Saints – come to the conference!
