By This All Will Know That You Are My Disciples

May 11, 2025 by FAIR Staff

Welcoming the Spirit, Discerning the Gifts, and Embracing Every Seeker

Have you ever wondered what truly draws people to the restored Church of Jesus Christ—not just doctrinally, but spiritually?

In his Christ-centered address, By This All Will Know That You Are My Disciples, Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf reminds us that the most powerful witness we offer the world is how we treat each other. As he shares a personal story of a nonmember friend discerning the Spirit in a humble sacrament meeting, he bears testimony that spiritual gifts are real, that discernment matters, and that the Lord’s Church must be a place of belonging for all who seek Him. As a Little Child

May 4, 2025 by FAIR Staff

Reclaiming Grace, Advocacy, and the Humble Path to Salvation

Have you ever wrestled with the accusation that Latter-day Saints believe we must “earn” our salvation? Or wondered how we reconcile commandments with the doctrine of grace?

In his tender and deeply symbolic message, As a Little Child, President Jeffrey R. Holland invites us to return to a place of purity, trust, and humility—where divine grace flows freely and Christ’s role as our Advocate with the Father becomes central to our hope and healing. Through sacred stories and scriptural insight, President Holland shows that it is not achievement that saves us, but our willingness to come to Christ “as a little child.” [Read more…] about As a Little Child

Carrying the Message of Easter into Every Sabbath

What does it mean to truly worship—not just attend, sing, or pray, but offer your whole soul?

In his stirring General Conference address, “Worship”, Elder D. Todd Christofferson invites us to reexamine how we honor God. He outlines four sacred dimensions of worship: our actions, attitudes, loyalties, and our emulation of the Father and the Son. [Read more…] about Worship That Transforms: Becoming One Through Christ

Anchoring our Identity and Eternity in Jesus Christ

What does it really mean to receive a gift—not just open it, but internalize it, live it, and let it define your very identity?

In his deeply moving General Conference message, “Receive His Gift,” Elder Patrick Kearon invites us to pause and reflect on the most profound of all gifts: the perfect, holy Son of God, sent by our Heavenly Father for us. Elder Kearon explores what it means to truly receive this divine gift—not passively, but intentionally—and how embracing this gift reframes our identity as children of God and anchors us in the realities of Christ’s atonement and resurrection. Confidence in the Covenant: A Gospel of Love for the Least Likely

April 5, 2025 by FAIR Staff

Letting General Conference Move Us From Receiving to Reaching

Have you ever wondered why some people seem so confident in God’s love—while you’re just hoping you haven’t let Him down too much?

In a world where many wrestle with feelings of unworthiness and question their standing before God, Elder Karl D. Hirst offers a deeply personal and healing reminder in God’s Favourite: you are already completely loved. You don’t have to earn it. You can’t break it. And no matter how broken you feel, God’s love still reaches you. [Read more…] about Confidence in the Covenant: A Gospel of Love for the Least Likely

March 30, 2025 by FAIR Staff

Living Sacredly as We Prepare for General Conference

As General Conference approaches, do you feel ready to draw closer to Christ and renew your commitment to live a holier life?

In his uplifting address, Holiness to the Lord in Everyday Life, Elder Gerrit W. Gong of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles invites us to reflect on how holiness can transform our daily routines and attitudes. He reminds us that “holiness to the Lord makes daily living sacred” and that choosing to live in a way that honors God prepares us to gather to Christ, both personally and as a community of Saints. I Am In Your Midst

by Autumn Dickson

There is a lot of doctrine covered in Doctrine and Covenants 29. I absolutely love it. It ranges from the Millennium to agency and all over the board. There are so many things that caught my attention that are meaningful to me but alas, let’s talk about just one of the principles. Before I jump into the verse, I want to give some background to explain why it caught my attention. [Read more…] about Come, Follow Me with FAIR – Doctrine and Covenants 29 – Autumn Dickson

Embracing Prophetic Leadership and Our Divine Responsibilities

As we approach another General Conference, have you ever wondered what opportunities lie ahead for us as members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints?

Stevenson of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles invites us to contemplate both the remarkable early days of the Restoration and the prophetic potential of the coming decade. Live Up to Your Privileges: Women, Priesthood Power, and Seeking a Better World

March 16, 2025 by FAIR Staff

A Gift of Divine Power for All God’s Children

What does it mean to access God’s power? How can priesthood ordinances shape our journey, not just for those who hold the priesthood, but for all who make and keep sacred covenants? In her General Conference address, “Live Up to Your Privileges”, President Emily Belle Freeman invites us to consider these questions in light of Doctrine and Covenants 25—the Lord’s revelation to Emma Smith—and our own divine privileges. I Am He: The Power of Christ’s Divine Love and Obedience

March 2, 2025 by FAIR Staff

Who is Jesus Christ to You?

Throughout history, people have asked, Who is Jesus of Nazareth? Was He merely a wise teacher, a moral philosopher, or something more? In a world filled with conflicting views of Christ—some simplifying His teachings, others distorting His mission—it’s crucial to return to His own words and example.

President Jeffrey R. Holland, in his powerful General Conference address, “I Am He,” brings us to a pivotal moment in Christ’s mortal ministry: His arrest in the Garden of Gethsemane. In this sacred scene, Jesus steps forward to meet His captors, declaring with divine authority, “I am He.” At these words alone, the soldiers stagger backward and fall to the ground. What does this moment teach us about the nature of Christ, His unwavering obedience, and His boundless love? [Read more…] about I Am He: The Power of Christ’s Divine Love and Obedience
